Sarah Fontana

Hi! I am Sarah Fontana, a registered Nutritional Therapist and currently studying for my MSC in nutritional sciences, where my studies focus on public health, environmental sustainability, and the importance of food security. I believe that small changes in our daily food choices can make a significant difference for both our health and the planet.

I have been volunteering at ThanksGiver Schweiz since November 2021 where I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with the local community and also writing blogs and creating food waste recipes to raise awareness about food waste and sustainability. 

 

I also hold a CPD-certified certificate in Sustainable Diets for Planetary Health, further fueling my commitment to promoting eco-friendly eating habits. Through my blog and recipes, I aim to inspire others to take action in their kitchens to reduce food waste, one meal at a time. 

 

I have a deep passion for supporting underprivileged families, driven by the belief that no one should go hungry when we have enough food for everyone. With my knowledge and experience, I aim to help the local community save money by sharing tips on reducing food waste and creating nutritious, budget-friendly meals. By making small changes, we can ensure that more families have access to healthy food while minimising food waste.
